Davis Mills: C.J. Stroud is the Texans’ starter, there is no competitors


Texans backup quarterback Davis Mills has played well enough within the absence of C.J. Stroud for Houston to go 3-0 and get again into playoff competition. However Mills says there is no thought that he might proceed beginning as soon as Stroud is cleared to return from his concussion.

Mills mentioned his expectation is that Stroud is ready to get the beginning job again, and Mills will return to serving to the staff in no matter position he can behind Stroud.
