Former Tennessee baseball head coach Tony Vitello was hired because the Giants’ supervisor in MLB on Oct. 22. He was introduced as San Francisco’s supervisor on Oct. 30.

San Francisco traded right-handed pitcher Mason Black to Kansas Metropolis for right-handed pitcher Logan Martin.
Martin performed at Kentucky in 2023 after transferring from Sewanee. He appeared in 9 video games, together with eight begins, for the Wildcats. Martin (1-1) recorded 30 strikeouts and a 4.44 ERA in 26.1 innings at Kentucky.
He was assigned to the Giants’ Excessive-A affiliate Eugene on Tuesday. Martin was chosen within the twelfth spherical of the 2023 MLB draft by the Royals (No. 349 general).
San Francisco will open spring training beneath Vitello on Feb. 21, 2026 towards Seattle at Peoria Stadium in Peoria, Arizona. The Giants will host the Yankees on March 25, 2026 to open the MLB season at Oracle Park in San Francisco, California.

Vitello compiled a 341–131 (125–85 SEC) document with the Vols, successful one nationwide championship, two SEC common season championships and two SEC Event titles from 2018-25.
